LESS NORMALIZATION WORK.
Not another
procurement platform.
You already have email, an ERP, supplier relationships and a way to buy.
QuoteLens sits between receiving quotations and selecting a supplier. It compares the offers you already have. It does not manage procurement.
From supplier documents
to a clearer decision.
Upload the
quotations.
Bring the PDFs and spreadsheets your suppliers already send. Start with a few quotes for the same purchase.
Align likely
equivalents.
Descriptions, SKUs, units and pack sizes are interpreted together. Likely matches carry a confidence level; ambiguous ones wait for your review.
Normalize.
Then compare.
See comparable costs, quantities and commercial conditions together. Review differences with the source quotation close at hand.
Different units
shouldn't create
different answers.
A box, a unit and a carton can describe the same item at very different prices. Convert only when the quoted pack size makes the conversion clear.
AI interprets.
- Extract descriptions and tables
- Propose corresponding items
- Interpret pack and unit language
- Identify commercial terms
Code calculates.
- Unit conversion when supported
- Required-quantity totals
- Freight and discount arithmetic
- Side-by-side differences
required cost = 500 × unit price
If the unit or match is unclear, QuoteLens flags it. It does not guess the conversion.
Do not reread three quotes.
Review what differs.
Matching fields can recede. Exceptions bring the practical differences forward, with evidence and room for your judgment.

Vector has the lowest quoted unit price, but requires twice the quantity. Aster's quoted total includes $185 freight.

Commercial terms
Delivery & payment
A missing term.
A more useful question.
When a quote leaves something unclear, QuoteLens can draft a supplier-ready question. Read it, edit it and send it yourself.
Can you quote the requested quantity?
Your quotation lists a minimum order quantity of 1,000 units for the X200 filter cartridge. Could you also provide a price for the requested 500 units?
ASTER · WARRANTY Your quotation does not specify a warranty period. Could you confirm the warranty for the X200 cartridge?
NORTHERN · VALIDITY Please confirm that this quote remains valid for the planned order date.
ILLUSTRATIVE QUESTIONS · REVIEW BEFORE SENDINGQuoteLens drafts questions. It does not contact suppliers or send messages autonomously.

A supplier quote does not need
another place to live.
It needs something to compare it with.
Your team already has the information it needs to buy. The difficult part is that every supplier expresses that information differently. QuoteLens puts the offers into a common language and leaves the choice with you.
Small scope.
Clear answers.
What QuoteLens does.
And where it stops.
01Is QuoteLens a procurement platform?+
No. QuoteLens is a focused comparison tool for after supplier quotations arrive and before a supplier is selected. It does not manage RFQs, approvals, contracts, purchase orders, suppliers or payments.
02What documents can I upload?+
The initial concept is upload-first and designed for common quotation formats such as PDFs, XLSX and CSV. Extraction quality will depend on each document's structure, legibility and the formats supported at launch. Scans may need extra review.
03Does QuoteLens choose the best supplier?
No. It organizes the offers, calculations and differences so you can decide. It does not select, rank or approve a supplier on your behalf.
04How does it align differently named items?
AI-assisted document understanding can propose likely matches using descriptions, SKUs and surrounding quote information. Match confidence and ambiguous items should be visible for your confirmation; a suggested match is not a guarantee of equivalence.
05Can it compare different units or pack sizes?
When the quotation clearly states the conversion, such as 10 units per box, the comparison can normalize to a common unit. If pack size or unit meaning is unclear, the item should be flagged for review rather than converted by guesswork.
06Does QuoteLens connect to our ERP?
Not initially. The proposed first version is standalone and upload-based. Use the quotations you already have and keep your existing purchasing workflow.
07Will QuoteLens send questions to suppliers?
It may prepare draft questions from missing or inconsistent terms. You review, edit and send them yourself; the initial product does not contact suppliers autonomously.
08Can I verify where a comparison value came from?
Source-grounded evidence is central to the product concept. Extracted values and relevant differences should link back to the original quotation and page where possible. The source document remains the reference.
09Is the product preview showing a live comparison?
No. All suppliers, documents, values and comparison results on this page are fictional illustrative data. The preview is interactive, but it does not accept or process quotation uploads.
Compare the offer,
not the formatting.
Drop in the supplier quotations. Review the differences on one page, with the source documents still attached. You make the purchasing decision.
